Senmanryo ・千万両・Vintage Japanese Straight Razor Kamisori with Rattan Handle Wrapping and Handmade Hinoki Wood BoxSenmanryo vintage Japanese straight razor (Kamisori). Directly imported from Japan and restored by us to a hair popping quality and sharpness. The razor was made in the Showa period. Never seen before, pretty rare. Nice ornament engraved on the spine.

Engraved on the lid is an Ukiyo-e woodblock print of Kitagawa Utamaro`s "正直者" - "Honest Person"

After Bluing we have attached a brand new real blue silk thread handle wrapping for a better grip

The blade comes wrapped in white linnen in a Handmade Wooden Box

Secondly this is a Kamisori’s that master Shigeoshi Iwasaki made himself

玉鋼 ・Tamahagane ・ the steel it was made of

it was still in good shape so we kept it and only removed surface rust and sharpened it
