Copal / Young Amber with insect inclusionsThis rich golden Copal specimen is loaded with approximately 100 insect inclusions consisting mainly of termites (specifically termite wings) (Isoptera) a single ant (Formicidae), an ant like stone beetle (Scydmaenidae) and caddisflies (Trichoptera). One of the inclusions could be a species of spider, based upon the form, but I can't say conclusively. The piece is notably gemmy transparent and really looks good with a bit of backlighting to see in the

On the front right edge of the specimen there is a small group of colorless gemmy Quartz crystals that appear to have formed in a "Faden" growth
