Description
883P Raku Amethyst PintSpectrum Raku glazes are all lead free and require a Raku firing process to achievethe results shown. Pieces are fired to 1750F (950C) in an electric or gas kiln. While still red hot, the glazed piece should be transferred into a reduction bin; commonly a small sealable metal container containing organic material. The reduction bin should be closed and the piece allowed to cool for at leasttwenty minutes before removing and cleaning it.
