1800s Pugliese Orcio with decorative rimAn extra large 18th century Pugliese orcio found by our friends in Puglia buried in the ground. These orcio were used to store olive oil and were often stored in the ground to keep them safe and cool. This wonderful piece has now been cleaned up. It has handmade decorative pattern around the neck. It is rare to find orcio of this scale and beauty in such good condition.
