Victorian Gold Locket - Wonderful Glass Fronted Picture Pendant Hallmarked 1864This is a lovely antique locket from the Victorian era. It is nicely for 9ct gold and for famous maker George Frank Bickerton and for Birmingham 1864. It has a clever mechanism where the top ball can be carefully unscrewed which releases the two sides so can you change the internal pictures. There is a glasss cover to each side and presently a very nice photograph of a couple to one side and a pretty lady to the other. It has minor wear and shaping

It is made of plaster and features a little bride and groom

dating likely to the 1910-1920s era

It has beautiful front decoration of flowers and scrolling going nicely over the lid and bottom part with lovely detail

It is likely to be 1860s and is hand crafted with lacy paper layers

They all have the same nicely shaped top and measure just over 3 inches long

5 inches long

It is stamped to the base and unscrews nicely from the bottom to reveal a cork base to house the pins

This is a stunning Victorian little parasol etui made of bovine bone

It has a handy little secret cavity to the rear and is in very nice condition with crazing as shown

It has an open back showing the bottle and contents

It would have had ribbon between the pages which is now absent and easily replaced

possibly bone or early celluloid
