Antique Arrow Brooch - Gorgeous Late Victorian Paste StoneThis is a lovely antique brooch likely from the Victorian era. It is probably made from pinchbeck and is in the shape of an arrow, studded with paste stones.. The stones are varied, possibly some replaced and the central stone is in a different setting so possibly a gemstone. It has a gorgeous shape and is very attractive on. It has some minor cleaning residue to the rear and front and has a good c clasp as shown. It measures 1. 75 inches across. It

The glass may have tiny flea nibbles and some small residue to the base and it is in lovely antique condition

It comes with its own beautiful box of silver exterior with a gorgeous cream silk interior and black velvet to the bottom part where it holds the brooch beautifully to display

It is from famous maker Thomas Kerr Ebbutt and has a nice Edinburgh hallmark

The pendant is 2 inches high including the bail and it is a very attractive and bright piece and a perfect gift

It is beautifully inlaid with amazingly complex mosaic and has all kinds of colours and pieces

The design was excellent and examples remain in working condition today (as above)

It is a very solid piece as the dog is three dimensional rather than flat to the back and he is a sturdy little terrier set on a bar brooch
