It is opaque, creamy white to pale gray or beige, with inclusions of iron oxide, tourmaline and other minerals. These inclusions create black and brown spots that resemble the random patterns found on its namesake, the Dalmation dog breed. It is believed to encourage emotional harmony and strengthen relationships.
